Question:
The man who had been caught stealing cattle was hanged at noon.
Answer:
The answer incorrectly formed compound verb is not correct.
Explanation:
The correct form is was hanged. The verb hang has different forms depending on the subject. If it is an inanimate object, the past participle is hung. If a person is the subject of the verb, the past participle is hanged.
