List an English-language newspaper under the name of the place of publication if it is part of the title and, if not, under the first word of the title after the definite article:
List French-language and foreign-language newspapers under the first noun:
Note: The article may be dropped unless the omission will cause difficulty or will appear curious, e.g. Droit, Le.
List periodicals under their full title, without the article:
In periodical citation indexes the abbreviated forms of titles are used (see BIBLIOGRAPHIES: COMPILING A BIBLIOGRAPHIC ENTRY and BIBLIOGRAPHIES: COMMON ABBREVIATIONS IN NOTES AND BIBLIOGRAPHIES).
