Scoto-

Scoto- is a combining form meaning “Scotland, Scottish.”

  • The Scoto-Norman kings were medieval Scottish kings who adopted Norman culture.
  • Scoto-English relations deteriorated into war in the late 13th century, when the Scots rose in revolt against the English king.
